Studies

Gerald Bitzer studied law at the universities of Tuebingen in Germany and Marseille / Aix-en-Provence in France, where he earned his Master of Laws (LL.M). After his legal internship at the court in Stuttgart and at the chamber of commerce in Cairo/Egypt he completed his Master of Export Business Administration at the University of Reutlingen/Germany.

Professional Career

Gerald Bitzer then started his legal career in a law firm and went on to become in-house counsel of a business insurance company in Cologne/Germany and London/Great Britain. Then he joined a worldwide known machinery and plant construction company in Duesseldorf/Germany and continued his career in Telecommunication Units in Munich where he gained deep expert knowledge in international business law as well in sales-related matters such as procurement-related areas of an internationally operating company.

Specializing in private international business law and insurance law, and particularly involved in the claim recovery of international business accounts he speaks English and French fluently.

He founded the law office in Munich in 1991.

Gerald Bitzer - additionally to the legal degree - holds a master degree in Export Business Administration. He has gained profound experience in the specific legal areas mentioned above and has been admitted to practice before the courts since 1989. Additionnally, he has gathered a broad practical experience in major international companies and is familiar with international sales and sourcing negotiations until the finalisation of successfull business cases. Due to the  understanding of cross-border trade the client's case will be handled in the most advantageous way.
